Political campaign advertising in its traditional form has been around for a long time. In the early days of American politics it was primarily hand bills, news paper ads and posters around town. During the twentieth century, radio and television were added to the mix. These forms of political campaign advertising still play a big role, but thanks to the dawn of the digital age, we now have a new tool we can add to our arsenal: the World Wide Web.

[contact-form-7]

The Internet is not just another means to an end however. It is making advertising professionals think outside of the box. While traditional adverting requires the audience to stop what they are doing in order to be exposed to your political message, Online they often find you as a result of the activity they turned on their computer or mobile device on for in the first place. In addition, you can also get your prospects perform a desired action, let it be signing up for a newsletter, giving a donation, etc. This, of course, is not available to you when you run ads with your local television station. Hence, adverting Online tends to be more effective and provides you with a bigger bang for your buck.

Here Are Some Online Political Campaign Advertising Ideas:

These are the areas we specialize in.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): This is the art and science of getting a page ranked in Google and other search engines for a certain search tem.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM): This includes all forms of advertising with the search engines that are paid for. For instance, if you have ever been to Google, you have seen the ads on the right-hand side (and sometimes at the very top). These ads also appear on the domains of Google search partners as wells as some blogs.

Social Media/Viral Marketing: This is essentially electronic word of mouth. This includes utilizing sites such as Facebook and Twitter and sometimes video sharing sites like YouTube.

Political Email Marketing: Reach individuals through targeted email lists.

Pop Art
It is a new artistic concept, is the essence of an extensive cultural movement of the sixties. It has a connection with the state of mind of a period that is the answer to the media slogans whose histories made history and whose models influence in the people.
The popular culture and the way of life are associated with the sixties. This cultural demonstration was purely western: the USA was the center of this program.
The pop art artistically analyzes the fact that the World has been growing by the capitalist and technological conditions of the industrial society. The beginnings of the Pop Art were in New York and in England.
The political and economic stabilization in the postwar period led to a “reassessment” of something that in general is designed as popular.
Psychologists studied the societal consumption and created a marketing system to take a commercial advantage of the customers’ wishes. Thus, getting closer to the consumers and buyers, creating products for costumer demand and media campaigns. This affected individual behaviors and in the interpersonal relationships. Everyone could adore collecting knickknacks, reading comics, eating hot-dogs, drinking Coca-Cola, etc. Pop Art is based on this.
The themes of Pop Art are based in everyday life. Pop Art captures the realities of a period and the cultural change, the predisposition of a new generation, and this culture transforms into the style and the art.
People felt free to express themselves in this Cultural Revolution. This led to new fads and forms of expression. It is almost ridiculous that artists, critics and educators allow themselves to be surrounded bye the trivial culture and crammed their houses with popular and nostalgic art, relics, and publicity symbols, playing with banality and enjoyed reading comics, science fiction literature, cheap novels and TV mania.
The music and the lyrics of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones translated the state of mind, the euphoria, the nerve, the power and the realities of the young people of the sixties. That’s why artists like Peter Blake, Richard Hamilton and Andy Warhol designed disc jackets for musical groups like The Beatles and Velvet Underground of course using the Pop Art style.
Pop Art is expressed through painting, sculpture, music, cinema, photography and literature. Pop Art paintings have many styles, for example some of them are based on comics, other are made of a combination of collage and painting. Some of them are made at different levels. Most of the sculptures are based in things that we normally see, like typewriters, cigarettes, clothing, toilets, or even tables.
My conclusion is that Pop art is an every day item that is drawn in a brash and colorful way. It is inspired by comic strips, advertising, and popular entertainment. I like this kind of arte because I think that is an art that don’t follow all the rules and we can see the reality of our world.

i am mexican so i am just learning english
thank you

I made a few minor changes. I think it’s a pretty good speech. Good luck!

Excerpts of the transcript:

DAVID GERGEN, CNN SENIOR POLITICAL ANALYST: But what happened over the weekend with the economy and the bottom falling out of the financial markets — and we have been saying for some time on this program this is the worst financial crisis since the Depression — Alan Greenspan said on Sunday the worst economic situation he’s seen — it seems to me that there’s a real turning point now, that that momentum on McCain’s side is likely to fade. And there is the opportunity for Obama to seize the momentum back on his side. I don’t know if he’s going to do it or not. He is trying. McCain has an opportunity here as well. But there’s no question right now that this — this really dark economic situation is now going to be — is going to really — is going to, I think, blot out a lot of this question about who — the backing-and-forthing and the advertising, and focus on the issues.

    ANDERSON COOPER, HOST: Right.

GERGEN: And that’s what — that’s what Obama has wanted to do. He’s now got the opportunity.

I think, personally, he’s got the critique down, but he still hasn’t provided a message about what he would do, nor has he really surrounded himself, in the way he needs to, with the Bob Rubins and the Paul Volckers and the Larry Summers and Laura Tysons, and have them as a tight unit. I think he still has to do that.

COOPER: Candy, no doubt — very quickly — on the campaign trail, it obviously played a big role today. You anticipate, in the days ahead, issue number one, it’s going to be front and center?

    CANDY CROWLEY, CNN: Oh, absolutely.

I mean, listen, just as foreclosures were showing up on B-17, or in the real estate section, along comes this horrific headline out of Wall Street.

    COOPER: Right.

CROWLEY: I mean, this is what they wanted. They believe, of course, that the economy is one of their strengths and that they can paint John McCain as George Bush.

Isn’t that nice? The nation’s banking system is collapsing, and members of CNN are not only discussing how it helps Obama, but are admitting that this is what his campaign wanted.

How disgraceful.

Here is the link and also a video of this interview:

http://media.newsbusters.org/stories/cnns-crowley-obama-team-wanted-horrific-wall-street-headlines.html

Your thoughts?

Meanwhile, Obama and his Beverly Hills entourage raised $9 million for his presidential campaign and the Democratic Party, while tens of thousands of Hurricane Ike victims are without homes, electricity, food, and water. Which party is suppose to be for the less fortunate again?

Edit:
What Obama won’t admit though is that he made his millions in the Bush economy. Or that President Bush will leave to his successor an economy 19% larger than the one he inherited from President Clinton. Or that the U.S. unemployment rate averaged 4.7% from 2001-2007 (this compares with a 5.2% average rate during President Clinton’s term of office, and is well below the euro zone average of 8.3% since 2000). Or that debt in the U.S. has averaged 2.0% of GDP annually from 2001-2008, compared to 3.2% annually when President Clinton was in office.

Markets always have ups and downs. It’s the nature of the beast. Remember how the economy tanked after 9/11, but reached unprecedented highs in 2007? Americans are the most resilient and resourceful people in the world. These aren’t unfamiliar problems. We’ll bounce back. It’s sad to think that what’s bad for America is good for the Democrats though.

How many of you have had their comments of questions deleted..because a individual "feels" like it was inappropriate…What protects our freedom of expression? The Y.A. guidelines are very vague…
1.Venting, ranting or using hate speech,
This is very generalizing Who decides what is venting or ranting?..(Hate speech should be enforced)
2.Chatting or otherwise violating the question-and-answer format.
Chatting is a form of communication between two or more people. This rule is very vague..and when you think about it..its kind of silly.
3.Being mean or obscene
This is ridicules..What is Mean or Obscene for one person might be acceptable behavior for another. You shouldn’t have a rule enforced on you because of your personality…Its unconstitutional.
4.Exploiting the community
I agree with this one. I wouldn’t want every other post being a person trying to sell you something at their website..
5.Cheating
Kind of Vague but I agree ..
6.Violating the law
I agree with this one,but its Ironic because I think Yahoo is breaking the law by violation our 1st amendment.
7.Behaving maliciously
This is another vague description. in the description it states this
<(Don’t post links to sites that contain viruses or malicious programs or that interfere with the operation of Yahoo! Answers.)>.. I agree with the description..but its still kind of vague..
8.Misusing Answers
I agree with this one, you wouldn’t want someone using Y.A. for intentions that it wasn’t designed for.
9.Doing harm
This shouldn’t be here because it is generalizing. What you think is safe could be seen as harmful to others.

That’s the rules we are supposed to abide by on Yahoo Answers..but here is the law that Yahoo has to abide by.(Yahoo is an American Company in California, so United States Law applies to them)

First Amendment – Religion and Expression

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

1.Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and by many state constitutions and state and federal laws. Criticism of the government and advocacy of unpopular ideas that people may find distasteful or against public policy, such as racism, sexism, and other hate speech are generally permitted. There are exceptions to these general protection, including the Miller test for obscenity, child pornography laws, speech that incites imminent danger, and regulation of commercial speech such as advertising. Within these limited areas, other limitations on free speech balance rights to free speech and other rights, such as property rights for authors and inventors (copyright), interests in "fair" political campaigns (Campaign finance laws), protection from imminent or potential violence against particular persons (restrictions on fighting words), or the use of untruths to harm others (slander). Distinctions are often made between speech and other acts which may have symbolic significance.

I haven’t broken any of Yahoo Answers guidelines..but it will be interesting to see what reason they use for taking down my question.

I think I understand what you’re getting at. What’s happening at YA is typical of what’s happening with our system of laws in this country. Laws have been getting passed that are not very strong in their definition, and more and more people who used to be considered "nice" are getting into trouble either under civil or criminal law. I don’t think the Constitution is that much respected anymore.

If a passage expresses an argument then underline the conclusion and put (parentheses around the premises). Indicate whether the argument is deductive or inductive and give a reason for your answer (e.g., "probably" occurred in the conclusion or the argument has the form of a categorical syllogism). If a passage does not express an argument then state "no argument.".

1.1) Certainly, the Federal Government should eliminate affirmative action since this country is founded on a principle of equal treatment and affirmative action violates equal treatment.

1.2) Do CEOs believe it is important that all business graduates they hire have some education in the international aspects of business? To find out, we surveyed the CEOs of Forbes’s "100 Largest Multinational Firms" and Fortune’s "America’s 50 Biggest Exporters." We found that: (1) Seventy-nine percent believed that all business majors should take an introduction to international business course. (2) About 70 percent felt that business graduates’ expertise in foreign languages, international aspects of functional areas (e.g., marketing, finance), and business, human, or political relations outside the United States is an important consideration when making hiring decisions. (3) A majority of the respondents believed that a number of courses in the international business curriculum (e.g., international marketing, international finance, export-import, international management) are relevant to their companies. It appears from the study that the CEOs of the major American firms doing business overseas are convinced that the business graduates they hire should have some education in the international aspects of business.

1.3) Unlike others holocausts, the African holocaust has yet to be officially acknowledged as such. It has been referred to as many things such as "The Slavery Question," but never as a holocaust. However, there is no denying that a holocaust is exactly what it was. Official acknowledgment and redress for atrocities have been afforded other groups such as Japanese Americans, Native Americans, and Jews after the war with Germany. Similarly, therefore, official acknowledgment and redress for the African holocaust is due to African Americans.

1.4) If you procrastinate then you lose valuable time for working on your assignments. If you lose valuable time for working on your assignments then you will do poorly in the course. So, if you procrastinate then you will do poorly in the course.

1.5) Repeal of the drug-prohibition laws will probably not lead to tremendous increases in drug-abuse levels. The reasons for this come from our past experience with alcohol and tobacco abuse. We now know, for instance, that consumption taxes are an effective method of limiting consumption rates. We also know that restrictions and bans on advertising, as well as a campaign of negative advertising, can make a difference. There is even some evidence that government-sponsored education programs about the dangers of cigarette smoking have deterred many children from beginning to smoke.

1.6) If an exchange of goods is voluntary then it must meet three conditions: both buyer and seller understand what they are giving up, neither party is coerced into the exchange, and both buyer and seller are able to make rational decisions about costs and benefits.

1.7) Few of us have heard of Harriet Wilson, the first African-American woman novelist, or Mourning Dove, the first Native American woman to write both a novel and an autobiography. This is explained by the fact that few of their contemporaries were willing to buy their books and the books quickly went out of print.

1.8) Since the only duty of a business manager is to maximize the shareholder’s return on her investment, and maximizing the shareholder’s return on her investment can only be accomplished by maximizing profits, it definitely follows that the only duty of business managers is to maximize profits.

1.9) Leo Dolinski purchased a bottle of "Squirt," a soft drink, from a vending machine at a Sea and Ski plant, his place of employment. Dolinski opened the bottle and consumed part of its content. He immediately became ill. Upon examination, it was found that the bottle contained the decomposed body of a mouse, mouse hair, and mouse feces. Dolinski suffered physical and mental distress from consuming the decomposed mouse and now possesses an aversion to soft drinks. The Shoshone Coca-Cola Bottling Company manufactured and distributed the Squirt bottle. Dolinski has sued Shoshone using the doctrine of strict liability. The doctrine of strict liability holds that if a seller is engaged in the business of selling a product, the product reaches a consumer without substantial change in the condition in which it is sold, and the product is defective then the seller is liable for any physical harm caused

You can keep posting these questions or find the answers yourself, but either way, no one is going to read all this let alone answer it all.

Opponents have criticized Presidential plans to use Education Department funds to produce and broadcast his Tuesday speech to school kids across the country.

Vocal critics accused the President of turning government money for education to his own political use.

“The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students,” said the House Majority Leader. “And the president should be doing more about education than saying, ‘Lights, camera, action.’ ”

Two House committees, the House Education and Labor Committee and the Select Committee on Children, Youth and Families demanded that the department explain the use of its funds for the speech. The Select Committee chairwoman said it was outrageous for the White House to “start using precious dollars for campaigns” when “we are struggling for every silly dime we can get” for education programs.

Of course these congressional critics weren’t talking about President Obama. They were blasting George H. W. Bush for his 1991 speech to school kids. The House Majority Leader was Richard A. Gephardt (D-Mo.) and the House Committee chairs were Rep. William D. Ford (D-Mich.) and Rep. Patricia Schroeder (D-Colo.) so said the Washington Post on October 3, 1991. Link… They actually had trial about it too.
The Dem’s why did they do this, and why are they mad about the other..I made a typo.. will Obama forgive me or is it off to the camp for me
lib tard try to READ the article then answer….your are welcome

The same old crap, set up a smoke screen to keep people from seeing whats really going on. Keep lying and telling half truths to stop anything from changing for the better. The few to send the rest of the flock to slaughter.

This is an excerpt from The Lonley Conservitive. The Democrats didn’t like it whe Bush wanted to talk to school children in 1991, so why would things be different for Obama in 2009? You liberals are so uninformed and have been spouting off without a bit of intellegence to back you up.

And to all the lefties calling us crazy for not wanting the president to beam messages to our children while they are at school, flash back to 1991 when President George H. W. Bush planned to deliver a speech from a junior high school. I may add, that’s not exactly the same thing as broadcasting a speech to every public school in the nation. Newsbusters found the 1991 story of Dick Gephardt taking issue with President Bush:

In fact, the House Majority leader at the time, Dick Gephardt (D-Mo.), said “The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students.”

Such was reported by the Washington Post on October 3, 1991 (h/t KY3 Political Notebook via Chuck Todd):

House Democrats criticized President Bush yesterday for using Education Department funds to produce and broadcast a speech that he made Tuesday at a Northwest Washington junior high school.

The Democratic critics accused Bush of turning government money for education to his own political use, namely, an ongoing effort to inoculate himself against their charges of inattention to domestic issues. The speech at Alice Deal Junior High School, broadcast live on radio and television, urged students to study hard, avoid drugs and turn in troublemakers.

“The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students,” House Majority Leader Richard A. Gephardt (D-Mo.) said. “And the president should be doing more about education than saying, ‘Lights, camera, action.’ ”

Two House committees demanded that the department explain the use of its funds for the speech, an explanation that Deputy Secretary David T. Kearns provided late in the day in a letter to Rep. William D. Ford (D-Mich.), chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee. Education Secretary Lamar Alexander was out of town. [...] Rep. Patricia Schroeder (D-Colo.), chairwoman of the Select Committee on Children, Youth and Families, said it was outrageous for the White House to “start using precious dollars for campaigns” when “we are struggling for every silly dime we can get” for education programs.

Rep. Martin Frost (D-Tex.) said that if Bush feels obliged to use government funds to hire outside consultants “to make him look good,” then he should fire some of the public relations experts on the White House payroll. “Then the president might be more sympathetic to unemployment benefits,” Frost said, referring to Bush’s threat to veto legislation to extend benefits.
Lawgirl…leave race out of it! I am not a racist because I disagree with Obama’s policies.

They were brainwashed by Obama’s speeches and cant imagine why rational thinkers wouldn’t want to have their kids brainwashed either.
