I have a political website to support a candidate. Can I place adsense ads on the site?

I have just created a political website to support a candidate for presidency this election. Can I place adsense ads on the website or does it violate the TOS? I will have photos on the site that other people/websites may own but I will provide all nesscesary photo credits to those parties. Would there be another way to generate revnue that would be better than adsense ads? Would another PPC advertising agency be less strict than google?
None of the answers below are helpfull at all

If you want to make money from adsense, get your website.

If you place adsense on your political website, you are undermining your purpose–which is to promote your candidate. If I saw a political ad with adsense, I would think, "He/She is not sincere, just trying to make money.
