On Which Side of the Political Spectrum Does Banning Tobacco Advertising Fall And Why?

I’m doing a REALLY important project for civics and I don’t really know which side this would fall on and why. Please help!!

Banning the advertising itself would be classified as liberal. Conservatives generally believe in a hands off approach to the economy and a caveat emptor approach to product safety. Liberals believe pretty much the opposite. Banning advertising is direct market manipulation, and hence would be liberal.
